Overview
Figma is a powerful design tool that allows you to create anything: websites, applications, logos, and more. Glean enables users to search for design files directly from anywhere they work. Glean allows individual users to opt into authorizing the custom application to index their content into Glean.
Features
Glean uses the Figma REST API to index the following data:
- Figma files from a designated list of teams
- Only files visible to users who have explicitly authorized Glean to index the content of a list of pre-indicated teams will be indexed
Benefits
Designers can become more efficient, as they can search across all of their design files and internal files in one place.
The Collections feature in Glean allows designers and other users to put all of the files for one project in one location, so Figma files can coexist with knowledge articles.
