Google Calendar
Easily view your upcoming meetings and events using Glean’s integration capabilities with Google Calendar.
Overview
Google Calendar is designed for teams and allows people to schedule meetings and events quickly. Google Calendar also gives users reminders about events. Glean seamlessly integrates with Google Calendar to get your events displayed in your workhub. To use the integration, you will need to authenticate yourself in Glean through Google Calendar, after which point our app will be allowed to make API calls as you. No data is ever stored for these sources, and the results of the API call are returned immediately to you.
Features
For Google Calendar, Glean requires read-only permissions to fetch your daily calendar and metadata associated with it to show on the new tab page. Glean makes calls to the Calendar events list API and never stores the result.
Benefits
You can see and update upcoming meetings and events in the new tab page, allowing you to keep track of your schedule and be on time.
Glean’s new tab calendar feature also displays company-wide events, saving you time as you don’t have to check several different platforms.
